Like many Australians we have loved being with and riding horses since we were kids. Now we have developed a stud with some very beautiful Australian horses. We've been able to bring together some great established bloodlines, combining show and working characteristics to breed horses with excellent temperament and ability. They are beautiful, strong, courageous and willing to be trained and perform in a variety of disciplines.

Here, we have fun with our horses. There's always something going on for horse and rider and a great joy in learning and growing together. Our young horses are handled from birth, but allowed to grow and develop physically and mentally in a herd environment.

Derwent Australian Stock Horses concentrates on breeding fine registered Australian Stock Horses, but we have included in our program other breeds where we feel their talents and/or conformation complement our horses. So, we also have some horses with Arab and Morgan breeding.
